Results from the survey addressed to French nationals residing in the UK conducted march 2026 based on close to 2600 individual contributions
Key Findings
▸ Online voting is the most widely used service (60.6% of users), with exceptional awareness of 91.2%.
▸ Rights protection (settled status, health, pension, taxation) is ranked as the top priority — the most widely shared concern.
▸ More than half of respondents (53.9%) are not aware of any representative institution (Senate, National Assembly, AFE, Consular Council).
▸ The reopening of the Edinburgh consulate and the increase in consular tours remain largely unknown (36.5% and 24.6%).
▸ Among children in the English school system, 28% have no access to French language classes.
▸ The Save You platform, dedicated to victims of domestic violence, is unknown to 95.4% of respondents.
