I have been living abroad for 28 years, including 16 years spent in England in a small town in the south suburbs of Manchester (Altrincham).
I worked for more than 20 years for an international recruitment agency specializing in engineering and technical professions in the energy sector. I held several positions there that took me around the world and allowed me to discover many cultures. My last position with this company was as Director of the executive committee for the commercial and development division.
After leaving this agency, I set up a consulting activity and offered my services to other recruitment agencies, including 2 years for a London agency specializing in renewable energy.
Today, I am employed again as commercial director, still in recruitment and technical energy professions.
In addition to my professional activity, I have just launched into political life and joined the Horizons party last year.
I wish to be able to make myself useful to my compatriots and to be able to share my experience as an expatriate, particularly those who live in northwest England.
I am married and father of 3 children -all adults- who grew up abroad and who for most of their schooling followed an English-speaking path. They live in England.
