ENSEMBLE ! For all French citizens in the UK
Benjamin Guedj

Benjamin Guedj

AI researcher (UCL and INRIA). Mathematician

Mathematician, professor of fundamental artificial intelligence at University College London (UCL). A former student of Sorbonne Université, he has been working for many years to strengthen ties between France and the United Kingdom in the fields of research, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Living in London with his family, he is the father of two children enrolled at Marie d'Orliac school. Like many French families in the United Kingdom, he has concrete knowledge of the issues affecting our community: access to French education, family support, support for entrepreneurs and promotion of French talent abroad.

Very committed to the Franco-British ecosystem, and former Young Leader of the Franco-British Council, he directs the joint research center Inria–UCL on artificial intelligence and works regularly with institutions, companies and public actors from both countries to increase scientific bandwidth between the two countries, which has earned him distinction as a knight of the order of academic palms, Fellow of the Alan Turing Institute, and Fellow of ELLIS (federation of artificial intelligence laboratories at European scale).

Through his candidacy in the consular elections, Benjamin Guedj wishes to put his energy, experience and network at the service of the French in the United Kingdom. His ambition is clear: to defend the interests of our community, strengthen its influence and contribute to making the French presence in the United Kingdom an even more visible, united and dynamic force
